1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using nystetools.com ("Nyste", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

2. Description of Service

Nyste is a web-based document and image utility platform. We provide tools including PDF manipulation (merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, protect, unlock, reorder, page numbers, extract text, convert to images), document conversion (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ODT, RTF, HTML, TXT, CSV, Markdown → PDF), image tools (compress, convert, resize), and utilities (QR code, Word Count, JSON formatter, Base64 encoder).

Some tools process files entirely in your browser (client-side). Document conversion tools send files to our servers solely for the duration of processing. All uploaded files are deleted from our servers immediately after conversion.

3. User Accounts

Certain features require creating an account using a valid email address or Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@nystetools.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Plans, Pricing & Payments

• Free Plan (signed in): 4 server-side conversions per day, 20 MB file size limit, all client-side tools unlimited, no payment required. Without an account: 2 conversions per day.
• Pro Monthly: Unlimited server-side conversions, up to 100 MB file size, billed at ₹149 per month.
• Early Access Lifetime: All Pro features, one-time payment of ₹799, valid for the lifetime of the product.

All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. By making a payment you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our service, all payments are non-refundable once the plan is activated and the service has been used. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to paid features after payment, contact us at support@nystetools.com within 7 days of purchase and we will investigate and resolve it in good faith.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Nyste to:

• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Process files to which you do not have legal rights.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission.
• Use automated scripts to abuse free tier limits.

We reserve the right to suspend access without notice for violations of this section.

7. File Privacy & Data

Files processed by client-side tools never leave your device. Files uploaded for server-side conversion are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS, processed in an isolated temporary directory, and permanently deleted from our servers immediately after the output file is delivered to you. We do not store, analyse, or share your uploaded files.

We collect only the minimum personal data necessary to operate the service: your email address (for account creation), payment information (processed and stored by Razorpay — we never store card details), and aggregate usage counts for enforcing plan limits.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding on nystetools.com is owned by Nyste and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our express written consent.

You retain full ownership of all files you upload and the converted outputs. By using our service you grant us no rights over your content beyond what is necessary to perform the conversion.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep Nyste available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance, upgrades, or emergency fixes that cause temporary downtime. We will not be liable for losses arising from service interruptions.

10. Accuracy of Conversions

Nyste uses LibreOffice and open-source libraries to perform document conversions. While we strive for high-fidelity output, conversion accuracy depends on the complexity of the source document. We do not guarantee that converted files will be pixel-perfect reproductions of the original. Nyste is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from conversion inaccuracies.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nyste shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
